500 years ago, the German inventor Johannes Gutenberg (1397–1468) invented the movable type printing method that transformed the way knowledge was disseminated in Europe, bringing about monumental changes in human history. Today, while movable type printing is recognised as an intangible cultural heritage, you can still become one of Gutenberg's apprentices! 

Join our guided tour for an unforgettable journey through the exhibition "Through Time – Print Art in Aberdeen Street". Explore the history of Chinese matrices created in Hong Kong and learn how Hong Kong Type has been used to print books that enrich both Western knowledge and everyday life.
