葛飾北齋（1760—1849）的浮世繪作品聞名於世，生動地記錄了日本江戶時代的民生百態。2024年，其作品《冨嶽三十六景：神奈川沖浪裏》成爲日本1000日圓紙幣的圖案，由此可見葛飾北齋的文化影響。
位於石硤尾賽馬會創意藝術中心的當代印藝將於今個夏天舉辦【藏品閱覽室導賞】，以明治年間（1868—1912）印成的北齋漫畫百年珍本，向大家介紹葛飾北齋的風格及他筆下的市井民生。有興趣的朋友立即報名！

Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849), renowned for his ukiyo-e prints, vividly captured the daily life of Japan’s Edo period. In 2024, his masterpiece Under The Wave off Kanagawa, from the series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, was featured on Japan’s new ¥1000 banknote, underscoring his timeless cultural impact.
This summer, Print Art Contemporary at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre in Shek Kip Mei will host a【Print Viewing Room Guided Tour】, showcasing rare century-old editions of Hokusai’s manga printed during the Meiji era (1868–1912). These works highlight Hokusai’s style and depictions of everyday life. Register now!
