CHEUNG Yuek Fei, Enna

Enna Cheung graduated from the Fine Arts Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023, majoring in Art History and Studio Art. 

Her work explores how skin, as a vessel of memory, reflects love in its various forms within her society. Each person's skin bears the memory of their body, from their first day to their last. By imprinting skin textures using soft-ground etching, she makes the strength in different relationships visible to our eyes. 

After graduation, Enna undertook a printmaking artist residency at Masereel in Belgium, where she explored traces of skin through intaglio techniques. One of her early works from this series was archived by the Masereel in 2023.  

As the recipient of this year's HKOP Award in Printmaking, Enna presents this solo exhibition as a culmination of her six-month residency.
