「細說從頭—鴨巴甸街的印藝傳奇」展覽以十九世紀中環鴨巴甸街22號的倫敦傳道會印字館（英華書院）為起點，追溯「香港字」的源流發展，細說香港中文鑄字業的傳奇故事。在是次導賞，大家將深入了解展品，如來自牛津大學出版社和古巴報社的字模，欣賞新一代如何受中文活字啟發，創作當代藝術作品，並用手搖活版印刷機，印製精美紀念卡。

“Through Time—Print Art in Aberdeen Street” invites the audience on a journey that begins at 22 Aberdeen Street, the historic site of the London Missionary Society’s Printing Office(the Anglo-Chinese College, now Ying Wa College) in 19th-century Hong Kong. Discover the fascinating history of Hong Kong’s Chinese type casting industry while appreciating innovative contemporary artworks by a new generation of artists and writers inspired by Chinese movable types.

Join our guided tour to dive deeper into the exhibition and try using a letterpress printing machine to create letterpress cards!
