平日在當代印藝的活動中，不乏機會了解和體驗傳統印刷技術，那今時今日肩負「把設計概念實現出來」的現代印刷工業，又如何透過機器和科技而達至設計效果? 「走進現代Printing Room」參觀活動將帶領大家走進九龍灣職業訓練局（VTC）卓越培訓發展中心（印刷業），一探廬山真面目！

日常接觸到精美印刷品時，你或許曾好奇各式各樣的印刷效果如何被製作出來？從燙金、壓印、局部UV的反光效果，到不同的釘裝形式，在設計師腦海中的每種想法，如何在現代Printing Room中搖身一變，成為視覺與觸感並存的紙品？

透過今次活動，通過參觀、示範和體驗，我們希望與大家零距離了解印刷原理、實際流程，認識印刷品中各個重要元素的角色，中心專業人員將示範操作頂尖的印刷設備，更將指導大家參與製作筆記簿書封，把印刷知識與成品一併帶回家！

WONG Cheuk-yan is the Manager of the Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Printing) at the Vocational Training Council (VTC), with a focus on printing technologies and publishing education. With extensive teaching and professional experience, she possesses deep insight into the evolution and application of printing processes, from traditional techniques to contemporary digital technologies.
