當代藝術的語境下，書的形式不受其功能的限制，超越常人認知的紙本空間，並對書的概念、物料和功能提出新詮釋。書已超越執印切釘，可以是立體的、有聲音的，甚至是光影構成的。

「點止執印切釘——書的藝術」即將開幕，策展人翁秀梅將概述書的源流，再以劉家俊、劉銘鏗、李曉巧、蘇柏姿✕石嬋卿、黃怡及黃裕邦六組藝術家的作品，探討當代書藝的論述與印藝科技發展的關係。

In contemporary art, the book form has evolved beyond its traditional function. It reimagines paper, space and purpose—extending typesetting, printing and binding to become three-dimensional objects, sonic experiences or light installations.

Our upcoming exhibition “Beyond the Ordinary – Contemporary Book Art” will open soon. Curator Yung Sau-mui will trace the book’s origins and examine contemporary book art and its relationship with the development of printing technologies through the works of six artists and collectives—Lau Ka-chun, Lau Ming-hang, Li Qiao-xiao, Percy So ✕ Dana Shek, Wong Yi and Nicholas Wong.
